Vatican Meeting: Stop, Enough – Don’t Kill People!

The Russia-Ukraine war and the effort to bring Russia into the peace process, along with the Kremlin’s demands, remain the world’s number one problem. Reaching an agreement is difficult. U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance even stated that if no deal is reached, it could lead to World War III and the use of nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s stance is also shifting – he no longer approves of Vladimir Putin’s actions and is speaking openly. On the other hand, Russia has its demands, which are naturally entirely unacceptable for the Ukrainian side, and Europe is also unwilling to accept them.

These topics were primarily discussed in the program “The World As It Is” by host and political commentator Buka Petriashvili. He also addressed other pressing issues, such as the tense situation between India and Pakistan; the U.S.-China tariff relationship, which will affect the entire world; and another hot spot – Iran, its nuclear program, and the ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Iran.
