Tensions in the Middle East are escalating rapidly, with the U.S. presidential elections just around the corner. The situation in Ukraine remains volatile, while Europe witnesses a series of fast-moving developments of its own.
These pressing issues were the focal points of political analyst and host Buka Petriashvili’s discussion during the program “The World as It Is.”
In the U.S., a vice-presidential debate was held. Experts have noted that the debate occurred in a highly civilized, courteous, and respectful environment. Although criticism was present, the anticipated aggressive and rigid stance from Republican candidate J.D. Vance did not materialize.
The debate ended in a stalemate, with no significant setbacks for either candidate, nor were there any notable surprises.
Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to push for permission to use missiles on Russian territory and seeks to ramp up drone production.
