This module focuses on open-source investigation (OSINT) techniques and the analysis of
information operations and disinformation narratives. Participants will learn about Russian
information operations and propaganda techniques, how to conduct investigations on Facebook,
verify suspicious photos and videos, analyze websites, and identify footage locations using maps
and satellite imagery. The training series includes presentations, demonstrations of relevant
tools, analysis of case studies, and practical exercises.
