Less than a year before the Saeima elections, the director of the New Riga Theatre, Alvis Hermanis, and his associates have significantly shaken up the Latvian political scene by announcing the creation of a new political force. This yet-to-be-formed party will have only one main goal – to change the electoral system. Hermanis himself has called it the “Trojan Horse” method in the media.
