Once again, Donald Trump and his planned and already implemented policies are at the center of global political attention. The new U.S. president has shaken global stability to some extent. The main issue? Greenland. Trump wants to claim territory belonging to an EU member state, an ambition that is causing significant controversy.
Beyond Greenland, Trump is also dissatisfied with trade relations with the European Union and continues to pressure Europe to increase its defense spending.
Additionally, he is halting multiple aid programs, including support for Ukraine. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin has stated that the war will end as soon as the West stops assisting Ukraine.
At the same time, economic and political ties between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia are deepening, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu finds himself in a strategically advantageous position across the ocean.
These and other crucial global issues were discussed on the radio program “The World as It Is “by Buka Petriashvili, a political analyst.
